Cece Winans is a female gospel artist and a voice of inspiration.

I decided to digitally paint a caricature of her by using a photograph of her singing on stage as a reference. After the initial base layers were painted, I realized that the caricature was not turning out as expected.

Instead of completely starting over, I decided to pull additional photographs. I then created a new layer and began painting over the initial layer to avoid starting from scratch.

Her eyes, nose, and mouth were used as my base, and I adjusted her facial features from there.
